The École nationale d'administration in Paris's 6th arrondissement is a Moorish Revival structure designed by architect Maurice-Adolphe Yvon and completed in 1896. Built during the height of French interest in Orientalist aesthetics, the building exemplifies the decorative exuberance of that movement with its characteristic arches, geometric ornamentation, and exotic stylistic flourishes. As the seat of France's prestigious school for training senior civil servants, it has served as an institutional landmark for training the nation's administrative elite since its construction.
