The Edgar Walter Largilliere Sr. House in Soda Springs, Idaho, built around 1899, exemplifies Shingle style architecture. Originally clad in shingles, the residence underwent extensive remodeling in 1938 to become a more substantial dwelling. Later additions, including one dating to 1976 when the structure served as a bank, maintained the shingle-covered aesthetic. The house was further renovated in 1990–91 to operate as a restaurant and bakery, known as The Breadbasket. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
