The Ellwood House is a Victorian Gothic Revival historic house museum on First Street in DeKalb, Illinois. Designed by George O. Garnsey and built in 1879 for barbed wire entrepreneur Isaac Ellwood, it was later remodeled by his son Perry Ellwood, which drastically altered its appearance and blended elements of several architectural styles. Donated to the city of DeKalb in 1964 and converted into a museum, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
