The Erasmus House is a historic house museum in Anderlecht, a municipality of Brussels, Belgium, devoted to the Dutch humanist Erasmus of Rotterdam. Built between 1460 and 1515 in a late Gothic or early Renaissance style under the tutelage of Peter Wijchmans, a canon and schoolmaster of the Anderlecht chapter and friend of Erasmus, it was where Erasmus stayed from May to October 1521 while working on his Latin translation of the New Testament. It was converted to a museum in 1931 and designated a historic monument in 1938.
