Eta Funayama Kofun is a burial mound (kofun) of the zenpō-kōen-fun type—characterized by a rectangular front and rounded rear—located in Nagomi, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. Designated a National Historic Site in 1951, the complex encompasses three related mounds: Eta Funayama, Tsukabōzu, and Kokuzōtsuka. Excavations revealed bronze artifacts of considerable importance; several have been designated National Treasures of Japan and are now housed in the Tokyo National Museum. The bronze vessels and implements recovered from the site display stylistic affinities with artifacts from the Korean kingdom of Baekje, reflecting the cultural and commercial exchanges between Baekje and Japan during the period of the mound's use.
