Farne Lighthouse stands on the southern tip of Inner Farne, one of a group of islands off the coast of North Northumberland, England. Built of brick in 1811 to designs by Daniel Asher Alexander, it is 13 metres tall and is a Grade II listed building. It remains in operation under Trinity House, which in 1910 made it one of its first lighthouses to be automated.
