Farol de D. Amélia, also known as the Ponta Machado Lighthouse, stands on the southwestern point of São Vicente island in northwestern Cape Verde, about 3 km west of the village of São Pedro. Completed in 1894, it is a white square tower 14 m high, topped by a lantern and gallery.
