The Federal Reserve Bank of New York Building, also known as 33 Liberty Street, is a Renaissance Revival headquarters occupying the full block between Liberty, William, and Nassau Streets and Maiden Lane in Manhattan's Financial District. Designed by York and Sawyer, it was erected from 1919 to 1924, with an eastward extension in 1935. Its deeply rusticated stone facade recalls early Italian Renaissance palaces such as Florence's Palazzo Strozzi. The building is a New York City Landmark.
