Fire House No. 2 in Billings, Montana, completed in 1911, exemplifies Prairie School architecture with abstracted Greek Revival ornamental details. The two-story red brick structure, built over a full basement, originally served a dual purpose: the ground floor housed the fire station proper, while the second floor provided living quarters for the fire chief and firemen. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, the building stands at 201 S. 30th Street and was also known as the South Side Fire Station.
