Completed in 1911 at the corner of 17th and Stout Streets in Denver, the First National Bank Building exemplifies the Chicago School style through the design of architect Harry W. J. Edbrooke. Originally constructed as the headquarters for the bank—also known as the American National Bank of Denver—the building has since been converted into the Magnolia Hotel. Recognized for its architectural significance, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996 and became part of the Downtown Denver Historic District in 2000.
