The Flagler Museum occupies Whitehall, a 75-room Gilded Age palace in Palm Beach, Florida, completed in 1902. Designed by Carrère and Hastings in the neoclassical Beaux-Arts style for Henry Flagler, the leading captain of industry who developed Florida as a tourist destination, it is a National Historic Landmark that now bears his name.
