Completed in 2012, the Flame Towers are a trio of skyscrapers designed by HOK that dominate Baku's skyline. The tallest tower reaches 182 meters and features a distinctive flame-shaped silhouette, a design choice that references Azerbaijan's historical epithet "The Land of Fire"—a region known for natural gas emissions from the earth and its significance in Zoroastrian tradition. The three towers (South, East, and West) together accommodate 130 residential apartments across 33 floors, a Fairmont hotel with 250 rooms and 61 serviced apartments, and approximately 33,114 square meters of office space, making the complex a multifunctional landmark that blends commercial, residential, and hospitality uses in the capital.
