The Fondaco dei Tedeschi is a Renaissance building in Venice, Italy, standing on the Grand Canal close to the Rialto Bridge. Rebuilt after a fire in 1505, it was begun in 1508 and served as a hostel and warehouse for the city's German merchants and their imports.
