The Fontaine du Palmier, also called the Fontaine de la Victoire, is a Neoclassical fountain in the Place du Châtelet, between the Théâtre du Châtelet and the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris's 1st arrondissement. Designed by Louis-Simon Boizot and built between 1806 and 1808, it was meant to supply fresh drinking water to the neighbourhood and to commemorate Napoleon Bonaparte's victories. It is the largest fountain from Napoleon's reign still standing and is a listed monument historique.
