Fonthill Abbey, also called Beckford's Folly, was a large Gothic Revival country house at Fonthill Gifford in Wiltshire, England, built between 1796 and 1813 for William Beckford to designs by James Wyatt. Its high tower collapsed several times, most recently in 1825, and the building was later almost completely demolished.
