Fornæs Lighthouse stands on the eastern tip of Djursland in Norddjurs Municipality, Denmark, on the Kattegat coast about 6 kilometres north of Grenaa. An earlier lighthouse was built there in 1839 to drawings by Georg Holgreen, and the current granite tower dates from 1892. The tower is integrated with the keeper's house, and its lamp was converted to acetylene in 1902 and electrified in 1924 using British lighthouse technology.
