Fort Hill is a Greek Revival historic house museum on the Clemson University campus in Pickens County, South Carolina, near the City of Clemson. From 1825 to 1850 it was the home of John C. Calhoun, the 7th Vice President of the United States, a noted proponent of slavery and constitutional Nullification. It is a National Historic Landmark, and the university has maintained the house and its immediate parcel, all that remains of an approximately 1,000-acre plantation, as a museum and library.
