In the grounds of Charlottenhof Palace in Potsdam, a marble fountain bowl designed by the renowned architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel and landscape architect Peter Joseph Lenné was erected in 1828. This neoclassical work exemplifies the refined aesthetic sensibility of early nineteenth-century Prussian garden design, combining Schinkel's architectural precision with Lenné's landscaping vision to create an elegant water feature within one of Potsdam's most significant estates.
