Built in 1913 in northeast Portland, Oregon, the Frank C. Barnes House—also known as the Barnes Mansion—is an eclectic residence blending Jacobethan, Colonial Revival, and Neoclassical architectural elements. Though long attributed to Portland architect David L. Williams, the design has been more recently linked to the firm Stokes & Zeller. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the mansion gained cultural currency as the "haunted" house featured in Beverly Cleary's Ramona Quimby series.
