Gare de Metz-Ville is the main railway station serving Metz, the capital of Lorraine in France. Built in 1908 in the Art Nouveau style by Jürgen Kröger while the city was under German rule, it is sometimes called the Station Palace because it displays apartments of Kaiser Wilhelm II. It has been a registered historic monument since 15 January 1975, protecting its facade, roof, departure hall, honorary lounge, and former restaurant interior.
