McHenry County, United States

The George Stickney House, also called the Stickney Mansion, stands in rural McHenry County, Illinois, in the village of Bull Valley. Built in the Italianate style, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. Its design, partly based on George and Sylvia Stickney's belief in Spiritualism, is considered bizarre. It has served as the Bull Valley Police Headquarters since 1985.
