Gethsemane Evangelical Lutheran Church stands at 4461 Twenty-Eighth Street in Detroit, Michigan, as a Carpenter Gothic structure designed by the architectural firm Spier & Rohns. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1980, the building exemplifies the wooden Gothic Revival style characteristic of late-nineteenth-century church architecture. Though originally built to serve a Lutheran congregation, it now houses the Motor City Missionary Baptist Church.
