The Goodman Library stands at 1219 1st Street in Napa, California, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1901 with funds from George E. Goodman, who also donated the land, it was designed by Luther M. Turton in the Richardson Romanesque style, marked by rusticated stone, round-arched windows, and massive scale. Its design marked a departure from the Victorian architecture that had previously dominated Napa.
