The Government Palace stands on the north side of Sükhbaatar Square in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's capital. Completed in 1951, this Neoclassical public building houses the State Great Khural, the unicameral parliament, along with the offices of the President and Prime Minister. Residents sometimes call it the Saaral Ordon, or "Gray Palace," after its former exterior color, which was painted white in 2007.
