Gradačac Castle is a fortified complex on a hill above the town centre of Gradačac in Tuzla Canton, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the slopes of the Majevica range. Its curtain walls rise about 18 metres around the upper hill, alongside a three-storey tower about 22 metres high, built between 1765 and 1821. The fortifications took their present form in the late 18th and early 19;century under the local captain Husein-kapetan Gradaščević, whose 1831 uprising of Bosnian ayans demanded autonomy. Together with the adjacent clock tower, it forms the national monument "Old fort of Gradačac with Gradaščević tower."
