The Great Synagogue of London was a Neoclassical Orthodox synagogue in the City of London, designed by James Spiller and built in 1722. For centuries it was the centre of Ashkenazi Jewish life in the capital. It was destroyed in the Blitz during the Second World War and demolished in 1941.
