The Hamburg Public Library stands in Hamburg, Iowa, a Carnegie library funded by a $9,000 grant that the Carnegie Corporation of New York accepted in December 1915. Dedicated on June 9, 1919, this single-story brick building in the Georgian Revival style is five bays wide, with its main entrance in the center bay. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
