The Hankar House is an Art Nouveau town house in Saint-Gilles, Brussels, designed by the architect Paul Hankar and built in 1893 at 71 rue Defacqz. It is generally considered one of the first buildings in the style, alongside Victor Horta's Hôtel Tassel of the same year, owing to its highly innovative plan and ground-breaking use of materials and decoration.
