The Harriet Beecher Stowe House is a Greek Revival home built in 1850 at 63 Federal Street in Brunswick, Maine, and a National Historic Landmark. It was a short-term residence of Harriet Beecher Stowe and Calvin Ellis Stowe, where Harriet wrote her 1852 novel Uncle Tom's Cabin. Earlier, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow lived there as a student. Bowdoin College owns the house today, and a room within it, Harriet's Writing Room, is open to the public.
