The Hawkeye Insurance Company Building is an Italianate office building in Des Moines, Iowa, completed in 1869. Prominent local architect William Foster designed it, and it may be the oldest surviving example of his work. The three-story brick block, with its bracketed cornice and tall, thin hooded windows, housed the city's first successful casualty insurance company. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
