The Headquarters of the Peruvian Army, colloquially known as the Pentagonito ("Little Pentagon"), is a brutalist military complex designed by architect Juan Günther Doering and completed in 1975 in San Borja, Lima. The stark concrete structure serves as an operational base for the Peruvian Army while functioning as the district's de facto main square. Despite its evocative nickname—which alludes to the U.S. Department of Defense headquarters in Virginia—the complex is not actually pentagon-shaped.
