High Gate is a single-family detached home at 800 Fairmont Avenue in Fairmont, West Virginia, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built around 1910 to 1913 for industrialist and financier James E. Watson, son of James O. Watson, it was designed by Philadelphia architect Horace Trumbauer in the Tudor Revival style, with half-timbering, stucco wall cladding, and clay-tiled roofs. Its mansion and carriage house are an early example of the style, which became popular only in the 1920s and 1930s.
