Highcliff is a 75-storey luxury apartment tower on a south slope of Happy Valley on Hong Kong Island, designed by DLN Architects & Engineers and completed in 2003 after construction began in 2000. Its slenderness ratio of about 1:20 makes it one of the thinnest tall buildings in the world, and a passive wind damper fitted at its top, the first of its kind on a residential building, helps it withstand typhoons.
