The Vishnu Temple in Bandar Abbas, Iran, is a historical Hindu shrine constructed in 1892 during the Qajar period under Mohammad Hassan Khan Sa'd-ol-Malek's reign. Built by the Indian community working for the British East India Company, the temple blends Hindu architectural traditions with local Qajar design elements. The structure employs traditional materials including saruj, rubble, plaster, mud, and stone, and stands as a testament to the religious and cultural life of Indian merchants and workers in this Persian Gulf port city. Now recognized as an Iranian national heritage property, it remains one of Iran's few surviving Hindu temples.
