His Lordship's Kindness, also known as Poplar Hill, is a Georgian plantation estate on Woodyard Road east of Clinton, Maryland, in Prince George's County. Built in the 1780s for planter Robert Darnall and designed by James Hoban, its five-part mansion retains subsidiary buildings including a slave's hospital and a dovecote. A local nonprofit preservation group now operates the property as a museum, and it has been a National Historic Landmark since 1970.
