The Hofkirche (Court Church) is a Gothic church in the Altstadt (Old Town) of Innsbruck, Austria, built in 1553 by Emperor Ferdinand I as a memorial to his grandfather, Emperor Maximilian I. Its cenotaph of Maximilian is notable for a collection of German Renaissance sculpture, and the church also holds the tomb of Andreas Hofer, Tyrol's national hero. Maximilian's simple tomb remained in Wiener Neustadt, so the Hofkirche serves as a cenotaph.
