Holy Transfiguration Church in Kėdainiai, Lithuania, is an Eastern Orthodox brick structure built in 1861 in the Byzantine architectural style. It replaced an earlier wooden church dating to 1643 that had originally served a monastery of the same name, destroyed by fire in 1771. After the monastery's closure in 1798, the site remained largely neglected until the arrival of Russian residents in 1841 renewed Orthodox religious life in the town. The current church, which replaced its predecessor in 1895 due to overcrowding, was abandoned during World War I but reestablished as an active parish in 1918 and officially registered by the Soviet government in 1947 with 230 parishioners. It continues to belong to the Russian Orthodox Diocese of Lithuania.
