The Hotel Gerard, now known as aka Times Square, stands at 123 West 44th Street in Manhattan, New York, next to the Belasco Theatre. George Keister designed the 13-story, U-shaped building, completed in 1893 as an apartment hotel. Its salmon-colored brick and limestone facade, with German Renaissance style elements, features bowed pairs of bay windows and steeply pointed front gables. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
