The House at 18 Walnut Street is a Shingle Style house in Southbridge, Massachusetts, built around 1898 by George Wells, president of the American Optical Company, apparently as worker housing for company employees. It is one of two tall, modest houses Wells had built on Walnut Street and the better preserved of the pair, with a slate gambrel roof featuring projecting sections. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
