The Imperial Hotel in Atlanta, United States, opened in 1910 and was designed by Edward Bennett Dougherty in the Chicago School style. Eight stories tall, it has a flat roof, a brick facade with grids of bay windows, and two historic Otis elevators. It is one of the few surviving tall buildings from the city's early twentieth-century construction boom. Abandoned in 1980, it was later listed on the National Register of Historic Places and converted to low-income housing.
