The Imperial Palace of Goslar (Kaiserpfalz Goslar) is a historical complex at the foot of the Rammelsberg hill, north of the Harz mountains in central Germany. Built in the Romanesque style, its Kaiserhaus was a favourite residence of the Salian emperors and was extensively restored in the late 19th century. Chronicler Lambert of Hersfeld called it the "most famous residence in the empire." Together with Goslar's Old Town and the Rammelsberg, it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992.
