The Indiana World War Memorial Plaza is a war memorial and urban plaza in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, originally built to honor World War I veterans. Designed by Walker and Weeks in the Beaux-Arts style, it was conceived in 1919 as a site for the American Legion's national headquarters. Its focal point, the Indiana World War Memorial, is modeled after the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus and houses a military museum and auditorium. It was designated a National Historic Landmark District in 1994.
