Inveraray Castle is a country house and historic house museum on the shore of Loch Fyne, Scotland's longest sea loch, in Argyll and Bute, western Scotland. Begun in 1746 and credited to William Adam and Roger Morris, it is one of the earliest examples of Gothic Revival architecture. It has been the seat of the Dukes of Argyll, chiefs of Clan Campbell, since the 18th century, and is a Category A listed building.
