The Isle of Dogs Pumping Station, completed in 1988, is a postmodern structure designed by John Outram for the London Docklands Development Corporation's Enterprise Zone development in Cubitt Town. Nicknamed the Temple of Storms, the Grade II* listed building manages excess rainwater and sewage overflow from the nearby Manchester Road sewers. Historic England granted it heritage status in 2017, recognizing it as part of an effort to increase postmodern architecture's representation on the national register.
