James the Greater Church in Bocholtz, Netherlands, is a Roman Catholic parish church designed by the renowned architect Pierre Cuypers and built in 1869 in the Gothic Revival style. Constructed of brick, the church has served continuously as the parish church for Saint James the Greater since 1873. The original structure was expanded in 1953 by Harry Koene, who enlarged the choir and added an apse and sacristy. The building holds a significant relic of Pope Cornelius, which drew pilgrims during the early and mid-twentieth century. Designated a national monument in 1967, it remains an important example of nineteenth-century ecclesiastical architecture in the region.
