Joensuu Church stands in the centre of Joensuu, North Karelia, Finland. Designed by the Finnish church architect Josef Stenbäck and completed in 1903, it is built in the Gothic Revival style with some National Romantic features. A high bell tower rises at the northeast corner, while the lower southwest tower houses a 36-stop organ built in 1969 by the Organ Factory of Kangasala. The altar painting, The Crucifixion of Jesus, was painted by Ilmari Launis in 1910.
