The Kabelsteg in Munich is a Jugendstil footbridge completed in 1898, designed by architect Adolf Schwiening. This arch bridge exemplifies the ornamental elegance characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement, which flourished in Bavaria during the late nineteenth century. Today, it stands as a recognized architectural heritage monument in Bavaria, preserving an important example of early modernist bridge engineering and design from the turn of the twentieth century.
