The Kamifunazuka Kofun is a zenpō-kōen-fun (keyhole-shaped) burial mound located in present-day Wakasa, Fukui, in Japan's Hokuriku region. Designated a National Historic Site of Japan in 1935, this ancient funerary monument exemplifies the distinctive keyhole form characteristic of Japanese kofun architecture, a monumental burial practice that flourished in the Kofun period.
