Killursa Church, located in County Galway, Ireland, is a twelfth-century Romanesque structure built on the site of a monastery traditionally established by the seventh-century saint Fursa, whose name survives in the Irish place-name Cill Fhursa. The medieval ruin stands within a large burial ground that accommodates both historic and contemporary graves and remains in use despite its age. As a protected national monument, the church represents an important link between early Christian monastic settlement and later medieval ecclesiastical architecture in the Irish west.
