Klaipėda Castle, also known as Memelburg or Memel Castle, is an archaeological site and museum in Klaipėda, Lithuania, near the Baltic Sea. The Teutonic Knights built it, and it was first mentioned in written sources in 1252. Demolished in the 19th century after losing its strategic importance, its remains now house a museum established in 2002 beneath one of its bastions, which reopened after restoration completed in 2021.
